Africa rouge – P30

This was one of my first African profiles. The color red has been chosen as it represents the lateritic clay, a fruitful and mineral-filled soil. The African continent has had a lot of impact in my life: I was born in North Africa where I lived until I was 11; my architecture thesis was about a Baha’i House of Worship in Ivory Coast, for which I studied and learned to love West Africa culture. I also travelled to many other countries in this beautiful continent where the diverse cultures, together with the colors, the dances, and the food fascinated and enriched my soul, from the North to the West, to the East and to the South.
