Effulgence or divine illumination (Tajalli in Persian language) – represents the revelation of spiritual truth shining forth into the world and within the hearts of people. In the Bahá’í Faith, this concept is central to The Four Tajallíyát (Tablets of Effulgences) revealed by Bahá’u’lláh, which express divine principles and guidance for humanity. This painting captures that inner and outer radiance through sweeping strokes of light and gold, symbolising spiritual awakening, the presence of divine truth, and the soul’s journey toward illumination.
